Uzalendo Half Marathon An annual national event by Eldama Ravine Education Foundation (EREF). Running for patriotism, education, and Kenya's future. All proceeds support bright students and community development in Baringo County.
Background Uzalendo School, situated in Lembus Perkerra ward in Eldama Ravine Sub-County, Baringo, started in 2016 with 34 students. Today it hosts 389 students (141 girls, 248 boys) and has educated over 1,040 students. The marathon raises funds to sponsor needy children through a model similar to Starehe Boys Centre.
